How much does it cost to see a Naturopathic Doctor?

Most of our visit rates can be found on our Jane online booking page - click here. Individual lab test fees, injectable fees and treatment product fees are not listed. Please call our reception for these rates.

Is Naturopathic Medicine covered by the B.C Medical Services Plan (MSP)?

Naturopathic Medicine consultations are not covered by MSP. All consultations are invoiced private pay to the patient.

How do I pay for services and are you covered by Extended Health?

We accept cash, debit, visa and master card. Our services are covered by many extended health care plans. Please check with your provider directly to verify the details of your coverage as they will not provide us with this information. We offer the option of direct billing for eligible visits with companies supported by our system if they are supported by your plan. Please be aware that if for any reason we have not been able to process your payment or are unable to submit to your extended health plan at the time or your visit, you will be responsible for full payment. We will provide you with an invoice after each visit which you can then submit to your plan, this can also be accessed on your Jane account. We do not direct bill for laboratory tests however they may be covered by some plans. Dispensary items and cosmetic services are not direct billed and are not covered by most extended health plans. We do offer a reduced rate for seniors 65 and older, college and university students with a valid ID card and those on income assistance (documentation required).

Are you covered by B.C Medical Services Plan Income Assistance?

We are not covered by MSP however some coverage may be available to you if you are on MSP income assistance or if you are first nations. MSP may cover up to $23 per visit for a combined annual limit of 10 visits each calendar year for the following services: acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, naturopathy, physical therapy and/or non-surgical podiatry for those whom are eligible. Do you offer Direct Billing?

Yes, we offer direct billing to many extended health plan companies if your plan is eligible including (subject to change) Telus Health, BPA, Canada Life, Canada Life – PSHCP, Canadian Construction Workers Union, Chambers of Commerce, Claim Secure, D.A Townley, Equitable Life, GMS Carrier 50 (Express Scripts), Group Health, Group Source, Johnson Group Inc., Manulife, Maximum Benefits, Peoples Corporation, RWAM, Pacific Blue Cross and Green Shield. Some plans do not allow direct billing or may allow direct billing but require you to pay our clinic and then reimburse to your account directly. This is specific to your plan and not set by us. Your plan will not release coverage information to us, if you have specific questions please contact your plan directly. Cosmetic services, missed appointment fees, laboratory tests, dispensary items, injectable solution, and in clinic tests are private pay and cannot be submitted to insurance.
